Refund & Right of Withdrawal Policy

Statutory disclosure regarding the right of withdrawal, immediate digital performance waivers, and subscription cancellation terms for R3CON Autonomous Security and Crypto Scouter Intelligence.

Immediate Performance Waiver Notice (EU Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m))

By purchasing digital subscriptions or scan credits and checking the statutory waiver box at checkout, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital performance and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal upon service activation.

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal in the European Union

Under Article 9 of the European Union Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers residing within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom generally enjoy a 14-day statutory cooling-off period during which distance contracts may be canceled without penalty or justification.

However, specific statutory exceptions apply to non-tangible digital services and digital content delivered electronically once access and performance have commenced.

2. Digital Content Exception (Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m))

Pursuant to Article 16, point (m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal is waived where:

  • The contract concerns the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium;
  • The consumer has provided prior express consent to begin performance before the expiration of the 14-day withdrawal period;
  • The consumer has expressly acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Because R3CON scan runners, Crypto Scouter live arbitrage scanners, API keys, and server-to-server (S2S) compute credentials provision instantly upon checkout completion, our checkout flow requires explicit confirmation of this waiver before fulfillment.

3. Business-to-Business (B2B) Commercial Transactions

The statutory 14-day cooling-off period and Consumer Rights Directives apply exclusively to natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft, or profession (“Consumers”).

Purchases made by corporations, limited liability companies, sole proprietorships, or individuals specifying a verified business VAT identification number (VIES VAT ID) are strictly classified as commercial B2B transactions. In B2B sales:

  • Consumer withdrawal rights do not apply by operation of law;
  • Sales are final upon provisioning;
  • Invoicing and reverse charge tax mechanisms apply where eligible.

4. Subscription Cancellation Anytime

While completed payments and past billing intervals are non-refundable once performance has begun, you maintain full control over your active SaaS subscriptions:

  • Self-Service Cancellation: You may cancel future renewals at any time directly through the User Portal Services Management dashboard.
  • Active Until Expiration: When a subscription is canceled, access and allocated runner capacity remain fully active until the end of the current pre-paid billing cycle.
  • No Surprise Renewals: Your account will not be charged again once cancellation is scheduled.

5. Technical Defects & Dispute Resolution

In the rare event of a verified technical defect (for example, server provisioning failure, duplicate billing transaction, or complete service unavailability exceeding documented SLA thresholds):

Please submit a claim through our Contact Portal or email [email protected] within 14 days of the transaction, referencing your Order Number (INV-YYYY-XXXXX). Verified discrepancies will be promptly remedied via scan credit restoration or pro-rated refund.
